"There is no decision that we can make
that doesn't come with some sort of balance or sacrifice."

Life is a series of making choices and whenever we make one, we sacrifice another to create a balance in our lives. In the grand scheme of things, these sacrifices, or opportunity costs as an economist would say, are what makes whatever we do worthwhile. For instance, knowing that you will get a good grade on an exam or assignment if you give up going out with your friends or even staying up later than usual to study allows you to appreciate your grade more. Likewise, you get to enjoy going out with your friends more after getting that good grade. It's a cliché example, but it shows how many things get mixed up or overlap and that making the smallest sacrifices can help you live a better, successful life in the long run. So, as much as possible, weigh your options to help you make a decision wisely. It's easier said than done, even I tend to choose more play and no work, but it's not impossible.
